The LINK Education Trust is an inclusive partnership comprising both mainstream and special schools, where every pupil thrives in their learning journey. Established in 2024, the Trust tasked Trigger with the creation of its branding. Following this successful collaboration, the Trust commissioned Trigger to develop refreshed signage for all its schools, enhancing their identity and visibility. The main aim of the signage was to support the launch of The LINK Education Trust. The new logo was incorporated into the signage of each school to create a cohesive, unified identity. Additionally, incorporating this branding would identify each school as part of the wider Trust and advertise the connection to all visitors, pupils and parents.
Each school within the LINK Education Trust has its own established branding, which presented a unique challenge during the design process: to create a cohesive family feel while incorporating their existing key colours and logos. This was accomplished through meticulous design planning, thoughtful layout, careful colour selection and appropriate font choices. Trigger designed and produced new signage for all the founder schools within the LINK Education Trust:

To maintain a unified identity, the LINK Education Trust logo is featured in the bottom right corner of each sign. On larger signs the logo was set within a ‘leaf’ motif derived from the original logo design. This integration not only reinforces the trust’s branding but also adds a distinctive design element that connects to the ethos of The LINK Education Trust. Another challenge we successfully addressed was ensuring a consistent appearance across all sign designs whilst replacing existing signage of varying sizes and placements. This comprehensive approach encompassed signs mounted on posts, attached to structures, affixed to walls and more.
