Our team proposed a design concept that combined the school’s core values with nature-based imagery. This approach promoted a sense of community and the importance of personal growth within the school. Additionally, we used a bespoke blue gradient device, which had been previously employed in another GSAL project, to maintain brand consistency. The design spanned four separate walls of the rotunda areas. As a result, each value had greater impact on its own dedicated wall space. Additionally, we also carried through the design into the headteacher’s office. The wall in this space had a combined design of all the values to create consistency.

Trigger Education’s design team conducted thorough research to understand the school’s core values and gather inspiration from nature. Furthermore, the planning phase included detailed discussions with school stakeholders to ensure the design aligned with their vision. The design team created a series of mock-ups that showcased how the core values; “We care,” “We are brave,” and “We grow a little every day,” could be visually represented through imagery and typography. The nature-based imagery included elements like trees, leaves, and water to symbolise growth, harmony, and vitality. To maintain brand consistency, the blue gradient device from a previous GSAL project was adapted and integrated into the new design. As a result, this created a visual link between the different spaces within the school. Once the final design was approved, Trigger Education managed the printing and installation of the wall graphics. We completed the process efficiently to minimise disruption to the school’s activities.
