Solution

The design is based on a pathway through a landscape of fields and trees. The pathway is split into four units which are signposted along the path. We used a vibrant, illustrative style for the landscape background. Additionally, we added new elements to represent the different units of the pathway. Each unit features distinct icons and its own bright colour scheme. These elements capture students’ imagination, making the goals more engaging and accessible. We fully customised the wall graphics to reflect Sandbrook Primary School’s unique spirit. We incorporated inspiring and engaging imagery, such as castles, forests and a rainbow reflecting the school logo. Moreover, the design reflects the school’s narrative and the enhancement pathway’s adventurous theme. We carefully arranged these elements to create a seamless visual journey. This journey guides students through their milestones in a stimulating way.

The finished wall graphics cover a wall along a school corridor, bringing the Enhancement Pathway to life dynamically. Colourful illustrations represent various activities and milestones, such as “Taste a new fruit” and “Visit a farm.” Each unit is clearly signposted to encourage curiosity and excitement among the students. The pathway begins with Unit 1, showcasing goals like “Plant some bulbs and watch them grow” and “Watch chicks hatch.” These goals are set against a lush green landscape. As students progress, the pathway leads them through other units. Each has its own distinct environment, symbolising the diverse learning experiences offered by the school.
