School Marketing | Reading Campaign | Education Illustration
This marketing campaign is centred around increasing pupils motivation for reading. Making reading a fun activity to do! The motivation for reading is wanted both in school and at home at River View Primary School in Salford. A number of campaign options were created initially.
We wanted a route that would capture the children’s imagination, with the most effect. ‘The Monster Read’ and its colourful monster characters were chosen as the favourite route. As a result this route was selected to be taken forwards to completion. The project included Trigger designing all illustrations and creating all marketing materials. The materials included web, teaser posters and also pull up banners. Collectable rewards were also designed to incentivize the children. The rewards included things such as badges, trump cards and also bookmarks.
Each reward featured a different reading monster. All the pupils really wanted to collect all of the monsters. The urge to collect more monsters motivated pupils to read more than ever before!
