Wall Graphics: A guide to the project process

trigger project process before and after shot

All our wall graphics are bespoke which ensures a design which is individual to your school and reflects it’s branding and ethos. Please see below the details of our project process:

1. Initial meeting

Our team will arrange an initial meeting to talk to you in detail about your requirements. We will discuss the options for materials we can print on and what would be best suited to your project. We will take photos and measure up the areas you are considering covering so we can provide you with an accurate quote to consider.

2. Design proposal and quote

We will send you a quote for the areas discussed and, where appropriate, inital design proposals. We will draw up plans to illustrate the areas we plan to cover. If you want to adjust the areas included or add additional ones, just let us know and we can amend the proposal.

3. Creation of design options

If you are happy to proceed we’ll book the project into the design studio. Based on your brief for each area we will create a number of design options for your consideration.

4. Finalisation of the design

Once you have received your designs feel free to ask questions and give us your feedback on your preferred design route.

We can then make any revisions you require to your chosen route. For example sometimes pupils get involved in voting for key messges or even come up with some design elements themselves that we can then incorporate into the design.

5. Site Survey

Before printing, we will book in a convenient time for a member of our experienced installation team to visit your school to do a detailed site survey. They will double check all the measurements taken at initial quote stage and consider placement of fixtures and fittings. Approved artwork will be set up to these accurate measurements for printing.

6. Final design approval

We will send you a final proof of the designs which we will ask you to approve prior to printing. Once approved we can then book in a convenient date for the installation. We often install in school holidays but we can also offer weekend and out of hours installation where required.

7. Print & Installation

Our designs are printed onto high quality materials and always laminated to provide extra durability. Our team of experienced installers will visit your school to install your printed wall graphics. Preparation is key and we will make sure any rough wall surfaces are filled and sanded ready to install. We pride ourselves on going the extra mile during installation, to make sure your graphics are given the perfect finish such as fitting edging on corners.
